The Launch! (Part II)
FRIDAY: Bright and early Friday morning Julio and I broadcasted live from The Bridge Youth Center in downtown Ft. Myers. As you can see by the video above, Julio wasn’t quite ready to take on the world at 6:00 AM. All that changed once he got some donuts in him though! Some Southwest Florida listeners stopped by to hang out and have free donuts, plus win free CDs from Call FM. And hyped up on sugar and caffeine, we also attempted to stop traffic on Cleveland Ave. by passing out donuts to drivers… That adventure had questionable results at best:
Friday afternoon, Julio did his show live from the concert spot in Naples, and got a chance to interview the bands Since October and Providence. After that, we got to rock with both bands during the launch concert!
Since October performed their single “Disaster:”
And Providence performed their song “The Search:”
