The most exciting news in the history of my life was greeting me this morning when I visited floridamarlins.com. I am not ashamed to admit that several tears were shed. More importantly, repeated shouts of celebration were in order (and thank goodness I was alone in the building, or I’m sure cops would have been called in response to the screams). I am ignoring the fact that there is a lawsuit pending that could nix the new stadium plans, and am instead choosing to celebrate another 38 years of Marlins baseball in South Florida. I honestly lost hope that this day would ever come, and now it is here. AHHHH!
