Today we fondly recalled the eloquent words of former Marlin Livan Hernandez, who is celebrating his 33rd birthday. The phrase he spoke right after the Fish clinched the 1997 World Series is very dear to my heart, as Livan was a huge reason for the birth of my Marlins fanaticism (or as Julio calls it, my “unhealthy Marlins obsession”). One of our listeners weighed in on the Marlins Manatee controversy, and took a stab at Livan’s famous line for a chance at a free X Box 360 and Rock Band. Click to listen:
